Sister Y was adopted at 6 weeks old in the 1960s. After more than 50 years of separation, she was reunited with her long-lost sister.
Blessed with support from both her adopted family and biological family, she assists families that have been separated by adoption, helping them navigate reunification and process questions of belonging, heritage, and identity.
Drawn to the pages of Scripture, she found that the Bible is not silent about adoption - it is woven throughout, from the deliverance of nations to the redemption of humanity itself. This discovery inspired The Quiet Adopter series.
Sister Y is also a Classical Gospel Singer, using the gift of music to glorify God and touch hearts. She lives in London with her husband and is available for speaking events nationally and internationally.
