About Sister Y
Sister Y is the author of The Quiet Adopter series — a powerful collection of books exploring adoption, identity, and belonging through the lens of faith. She was adopted at 6 weeks old in the 1960s and after more than 50 years was reunited with her long-lost sister.
She is also a Classical Gospel Singer, healthcare practitioner, dementia charity founder, and COVID-19 frontline worker. She lives in London and speaks nationally and internationally.
Her books are available in English, Dutch, Albanian and Polish — reaching readers around the world with a message of grace, healing, and belonging.
